「ソーシャルアパートメント」とは、従来のプライベートルームに加えパブリックスペースとして共有のLDKが設けられた集合賃貸住宅であり、社交的な要素やコミュニティの強化が重視されたアパートメントのことを指します。ビリヤードのあるラウンジや共有のキッチンスペースがあり、住民同士が娯楽や料理を共有し合うことでお互いを知るきっかけになり、ワークスペースではブースや映像設備で先進たるデジタルコミュニケーション、リモートワークを想起させます。それらのデザインは閉鎖的な空間ではなく開かれたデザインになると考え、住民同士が視覚的につながり自然なコミュニケーションが生まれやすい環境を目指しました。A “social apartment” refers to a collective rental housing model that, in addition to conventional private rooms, provides a shared LDK (living, dining, and kitchen) as a public space, emphasizing sociability and community. It features a lounge with a billiard table and a shared kitchen, creating opportunities for residents to get to know one another through shared recreation and cooking. The workspace, equipped with booths and audiovisual facilities, evokes advanced digital communication and remote work environments. We envisioned these spaces not as closed-off environments but as open and connected designs, aiming to create a setting where residents can visually connect with one another and where natural communication can easily emerge.
